Hi PAL! (or are you NTSC?) Here is the story of me getting in to this hobby long time ago, before the word "Retrogaming" was even invented. Starting with 8 and 16-Bit era, where games been played, projected on a cathode ray tube scree
21 years ago in November of 1997 a follow up to the greatest game series of all time Castlevania was released in Europe for the original PlayStation under the subtitle Symphony of the Night. At the time when most games went 3D, this one stayed loyal to 2D sprites. I borrowed SotN from a local rental store and knew directly it was a masterpiece! Back then .
Last month I went to Yokosuka in Kanagawa prefecture and also visited Dobuita street. If you familiar with Shenmue (a video game from 1999 for the SEGA Dreamcast) then you know what I am talking about. Yu Suzuki, the creative director behind this game used names and specific places from Yokosuka in Kanagawa prefecture as insperation for Shenmue (chapter 1). Now 19 years later a person, who likes and play video games and also work for the city of Yokosuka tourism department, had the idea to bring out a guide that takes you to all these places in real! We met that person and talked about this guide map and the story behind it creation.
Today was the last day for Demon's Souls to have it's online features. With shutting down the servers, the great era of unique onlineplay going to an end. After 9 years I finally managed to finish my first playthru and put this beast to slee

Just a couple weeks ago I bought a Sharp Twin Famicom on my last trip in Japan. Now finally I installed the NESRGB PCB from Viletim http://etim.net.au/nesrgb/ in to it and it works! I will do a review on that later...
